Hola Mexico! - Summer 2In this section...
We say 'Hola Mexico' during this half term we where look closely at the 'Mayan' civilisation in History, learning about how artefacts help us to know about their society, daily life, religion and beliefs. We look at the major achievements of the Mayans and the reasons behind their decline. We link our Geography to this learning where we study 'Rainforests', their vegetation, climate, and the people and settlements of the rainforests. We look at the human and environmental impact on the rainforests and what measures we are taking and need to take to preserve them. In Art we look at line, pattern, shape and colour to create textured Mayan inspired prints.
